Data deletion

You can delete your data from Bazm at any time. This page explains how, and what happens after. Details on what we collect are in our privacy policy.

Disconnect one social media account

  1. Sign in to Bazm and open Settings → Channels.
  2. Choose the account and select Disconnect.

We delete the account's access tokens immediately and stop collecting its data. Its posts, comments, messages and analytics are deleted from Bazm within 30 days.

Delete your whole organisation

  1. Sign in as an owner of the organisation and open Settings → Organisation.
  2. Select Delete organisation and confirm.

This deletes every brand, connected account, post, conversation, file and member of the organisation within 30 days. Encrypted backups are overwritten within a further 30 days. Billing records are kept only as long as tax law requires.

Remove Bazm from Facebook or Instagram

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find Bazm and select Remove.

Removing the app stops Bazm from accessing your Facebook and Instagram data. To also delete the data we already received from Meta, disconnect the account in Bazm as above, or email us using the steps below.

Remove Bazm from Google or YouTube

Open your Google account's third-party access settings, selectBazm and choose Delete all connections. Then disconnect the channel in Bazm to delete the data we already received.

Ask us to delete your data

If you can't sign in, or you want us to do it for you, email support@getbazm.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want one connected account or the whole organisation deleted.

We confirm the request within 3 working days and complete it within 30 days. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before deleting anything.

If you are not a Bazm customer

If a business used Bazm to manage messages or comments you sent them, please ask that business to delete your data. You can also email us and we will pass your request to them and help them complete it.
